The village of Plouha sits just a few kilometres from the coast, some 30km N.W. of the large

town of St Brieuc on Brittany's Cote de Goelo. Being virtually equidistant (1h15 -1h30) from

the large ports of Roscoff and St Malo and the small international airports of Brest and Dinard,

it makes an ideal base for exploring the many delights of Brittany, offering also the choice of a

number of sandy beaches within 15 minutes of our house. Plouha is also served by good ( very

cheap!) bus links to the very lovely town of Paimpol - 20 minutes up the coast- and to St Brieuc,

from where you have direct rail connections to Brest and Paris. For bus times click here.

Most of our guests arrive by car, turning off the N12 heading west onto the D786 north just past

St Brieuc. Pass through the beautiful seaside village of Binic before skirting around the resort of

St Quay-Portrieux and Plouha lies some 5km further on. The first exit from the floral roundabout

leads directly uphill to the Place Foch, (village centre) and the map below completes direction to

our house.
